ebay India : HOW to be really successful as an eBay seller in India:

There could be multiple resources:

Step 1 : First and foremost pick a line of products that you are aware of, is part of your hobby, etc. e.g. Homemakers can probably think of products that they use to decorate houses that will be able to source easily - Items from Flea Markets, Metal Work from Tanjore, from Basar, or other places, Gardening Equipment for people who are into gardening, and so on.

Step 2 : Register as a seller and give a bigger line of products a shot. You never can know which one will sell.

Step 3 : You will need to have patience to succeed in this. If you are expecting this to make you an overnight star, that is probably going to happen. Patience, along with some understanding of what the market could be looking for, would go a long way in keeping you going till you reach a stage where the money coming in speaks for itself.There are many other finer points and advanced strategies beyond the scope of this website. If you think you are interested in giving eBay a serious shot, you might want to consider going through one of the following eBooks (I'm afraid we couldn't find a Free One on this, like we were able to do for Affiliate Marketing!).

How to make money from Home - Part 3

Step 1 - Create an Adsense Account for yourself.

Step 2 - Create a website about something that you are passionate about and can contribute a lot of original or researched content about. This could be Gardening, Sania Mirza, Stock Analysis, Sachin Tendulkar, Hindi Movies, Lyrics and so on.

Step 3 - Add original and authentic content to the website for a few months and also get your website registered to Free Indian Directories. Also get your website submitted to all the Search Engines.

Step 4 - In a few months, you will see some traffic trickling in and also some clicks and earnings. Add more content and ask more web publishers to link to your website. In 4-6 months you should have some decent traffic and earnings from your website.

How does Google Adsense work - Part 2

Let us assume you have a website about anything that generates some traffic (obviously the more traffic the better). All you would need to do is to sign up for Google Adsense by clicking on any of the banners above. Google takes a look at your website and accepts the application. Once this is done, you login to your account, and Google gives you small bits of code that you need to cut and paste on to your website. Once this page is uploaded, Google displays ads within these Google Adsense blocks on your pages. Google also makes sure that these ads are relevant to the content of the page where you have placed the ads. Now, every time people visiting your website click on any of the ads displayed in these Google Adsense blocks, Google earns on a per click model from the advertiser. Google shares a Percentage (%) of their earnings with you for every click and you will be able to login and see your earnings accumulate over time.As a publisher, you dont need to worry about advertisers and ad rates. You dont have to worry about the content of the ads (Google monitors those). You dont even have to worry about your competitors ads appearing on your pages, you can block ads from those domains. Finally, as competitions heats up and advertisers start bidding more and more for each click, you get to earn more from the same traffic.

Make Money Through Google Adsense - Part 1

Google Adsense - Since the late 90s a lot of questions were being generated about decent revenue models for websites which were able to generate traffic through their advertising or great content. So, while quite a few websites were able to gather the eyeballs which proved the strength in their concept, very often many of these websites were not able to monetize the traffic in a meaningful way.

The primary reason for this was the inability for many small publishers to find the advertising that could help them generate revenue. Many found it tough to talk to Media Planners who were buying advertising space on the websites. The vagueness of advertising models also made the going extremely tough. Since the most common approach was for publishers to charge by 1000 impressions of the ad, often advertisers were not sure about the authenticity of the impressions and hence advertisers were not always willing to work with the smaller publishers. If publishers did land on a contract, both the advertiser as well as the publisher were never really sure about the effectiveness of the advertising because all that was measured were impressions.In the middle of all this chaos Google launched its Adsense Campaign.

Google already had a very profitable Pay Per Click Advertising Model called Google Adwords which displayed ads as Sponsored Links next to actual Search Results. Through Google Adsense, Google expanded its network. It allowed smaller publishers to subscribe for this and earn through Google Ads displayed on their websites, and at the same time increased the channels and total adspace area available online for the advertisers, creating a strong win win.
